Thanksgiving
We hosted Zac, Whitney and the cousins at our house for a lovely Thanksgiving. They came in the morning and spent the night. The missionaries joined us for Thanksgiving dinner and games, which was fun too!
The cousins all loved playing together, and Lydia led school for the younger cousins while the grown ups ate. It was cute. :) They played outside for a long time, and Soren joined for a while too. Matt even took the older cousins on a rain walk the next morning to explore the woods.
I made a full Thanksgiving dinner for 14, with just a little help. Plus all-day snacks for the group. I even cooked the turkey for the first time ever! It was surprisingly easy to pull it all together.
All November, our family worked on our annual Thanksgiving thankful tree. I think this was our 3rd year in a row doing it! Some of us wanted to include silly things this time. 😏 And Luke wanted to write his own thankful leaves too! The kids made sure we brought the leaves and pens to the dinner table every night so we could all write something down. ;)
