Matt turned 33! We celebrated by going out to breakfast with Elise after the big kids went to school / preschool. And his strawberry angel food cake was a hit!

And Luke turned 3! He had a fun party at our house with some of his nursery friends and laughed when everyone sang to him. He requested a "car cake" so we decorated an ice cream cake with his car toys! He loved it. 🥰 He had a fun birthday! 💙

Virginia Beach Aquarium
Lydia had been begging to go to the beach and I wanted to visit the Virginia Beach Aquarium, so we finally went over a long weekend. It was a windy day but fun! Surprisingly, the cold beach was even better than the aquarium.

Lyd and Luke continued to enjoy school and preschool. Ms. Stephanie sends the best pictures of Luke from playgroup! And reading Lydia's writing journals is always great. :)

Lydia had weekly ballet and piano lessons, and Matt kept working with the Young Men from church every week.
