August was full of play dates, birthday parties, swimming at the pool, and the last two weeks of preschool summer camp for Luke and Elise. We had the Carlson girls stay with us for 3 days (so fun!), and even got our Halloween costumes. :) I was called to be in the Young Women's presidency which has been GREAT but a lot of work!
At the end of the month, it was back to school - Lydia started 4th grade and Luke started Kindergarten!!

He enjoyed preschool summer camp with Ms Theresa - she's wonderful! - at the same preschool he's gone to for the last 3 years. Over the summer he made a friend, Avran, who ended up in his same Kindergarten class too. They're BFFs now! |

| We had fun at Kid to Kid on their costume day! Elise said she wanted a fairy princess costume, and we found the most perfect one!! It was so good the ladies working there asked for a picture of her in it and posted it on their Instagram. She felt so special! Luke got a Ghost Buster costume and was equally adorable in it. :) |
