- Luke and Elise's preschool put on the cutest Mother's Day program and Muffins with Mom :)
- Luke's preschool graduation! He was SO happy and excited. 🥹 He had the best year with Ms. Brenda. She's wonderful. We're lucky we caught her last year before retirement! The boys in Luke's class were really tight and will miss each other. They're all going to different elementary schools in the fall! At Luke's Kindergarten meeting with a teacher, she did a few activities with him and said, "Wow, what preschool does he go to? He's doing great." He's more than ready for K!
- Luke and Elise's end of year programs. Vikki came! Elise has had a great year too, with Ms. Marlene (who she'll have again next year!) and her BFFs Hazel and Nolan.
- Our 12 year anniversary! We had a family picnic at the lake with Thai takeout.
- Lots of play dates
- Lydia's first job! The Cossios paid her to take care of their chickens while they were gone. :)
- Lydia's piano recital with Mrs. Krauss. She played a solo and a duet and did great.
- Spent an afternoon at Bear Creek Lake State Park
- History Lives! Lydia dressed up as Queen Victoria for History Lives, a project the 3rd graders do every year. She memorized a 1-minute speech and presented it in a 'museum' setting with classmates, while parents and friends walked around listening to each. She rocked it!
- Swim team started! This was Lydia's 2nd year and Luke's first year. We've spent lots of time at the pool since it opened Memorial Day Weekend!
- Lydia was recognized as a Core Value Student! Vivian and I went to a little reception and presentation they did for the Core Value students. Such a fun way for her to end the school year!
- On the last day of school, the bus stop families surprised the kids with a big water gun fight as they got off the bus! It was a party!
- Lydia finished 3rd grade. 🥲 She had a great year with Mrs. Glazebrook!
- Lydia's dance recital! She did trio this year, which includes ballet, tap and jazz, so they performed 3 dances. She really shines on stage!
- Luke learned to ride his bike without training wheels! Matt took them off the bike and Luke immediately peddled away, like he'd been doing it for years. :) So fun!
- At the end of the month Grandma Trudy and Grandpa Mark came for a visit! We all went out to lunch at Chic Fil A only to have Luke ditch us for a table of police officers! After our food came he got it and took it back to eat with them hahaha. They were really nice to him! It reminded us of that Norman Rockwell painting...
