• Vivian's FIRST birthday! We celebrated with Grandma Trudy, Grandpa Mark, and a home made cake. (Lemon poppyseed 3-layer cake with raspberry jam filling and strawberry Swiss meringue frosting. It was so good and special!) 
• She's 63% for weight
• 71% for height
• Says Mama and Dada
• Crawls all over the place and cruises along furniture, but no interest in walking :)
• Loves blueberries (eats SO MANY), strawberries, apple sauce pouches and milk
• Loves stroller walks and bath time
• Hates diaper changes and clothes changes
• Is a great sleeper
• Favorite time of day is when Matt rocks her to sleep at night. She'll get mad if I try to rock her to sleep, only wants Daddy. :) 
• We love her so much! Luke runs into her room early every morning when he hears her waking up and plays with her before Mom or Dad get her up. Elise stops what she's doing to give her big, tight squeezes probably 10 times a day (which usually makes Viv scream). And Lydia is always a big helper with her. 

• Lydia's NINTH birthday! Last year in the single-digits! Since she had a big party last year we didn't do one this year, but still celebrated with an early birthday dinner just me and her at The Boathouse. Her bday was on Father's Day this year! She asked if she could go on a canoe ride with just Matt for her bday, and then Luke asked to go with just him for Father's Day. 
• My birthday! I made a rhubarb upside down cake. :)
• Swim team! Luke and Lydia really improved and loved getting ribbons. Luke overcame his uncertainty about swim meets with a little help from Charlie.
• Luke and I took a little day trip to Charlottesville and saw polo at King Vineyards, UVA to explore the botanical garden, and a flower farm I saw on Ig. It was fun! But also 100° and we were melting.
