We haven't been able to visit Matt's extended family in the Boise area for almost 10 years because when he was in the Army it seemed like he was always deployed or at a training when the reunions happened. This year it finally worked out! The reunion was the perfect time to see lots of Matt's family including Great Grandma Evelyn and Great Grandpa Hill! The kids had the time of their lives playing with cousins, aunts, and uncles and partying non stop for our whole 6-day trip. They went to a water park, played in Grandpa Hill's back yard (huge rope swings, trampoline, 4-wheeler, slip n slide, etc), and at the Dittmans' with their amazing collection of kittens, horses, and dogs. We're all so glad we were able to see family and make so many memories!

The biggest surprise of the trip was that a couple of my college besties were vacationing less than 20 minutes away! Such a random, fun coincidence. We both posted about our trips on Ig and realized we were so close. Heather was my roommate sophomore year at OSU and Steph was one of my bridesmaids!
We met up at a local playground and let my kids and their kids play while we caught up. So fun!!!
We hadn't seen each other in 5+ years!
