Elise's 1st Birthday!

Baby Elise turned ONE! 🤩

Her day started bright and early with a birthday wake-up brigade: the whole family coming into her room singing Happy Birthday when she woke up! She started crying haha 😅She must have been startled. Then presents!

Lydia made her a very thoughtful card (can you see the drawing of Lyd holding Elise?) and gave her Veggie Straws, which she'd bought with her own birthday money. :) It was Elise's favorite present by far. 💗They're the sweetest sisters!

After a day of running siblings around to summer camp, ballet practice, a play date and Matt to Young Men's (he's a YM leader), we did a late evening birthday cake and song! I made strawberry shortcake for our strawberry (haired) shortcake. :) 

Lydia, Luke and I all blew out her candle for her, together! It was a cute moment. :)

FaceTiming Gramie and Gpa!

Elise is a bright, happy girl! She goes with the flow, loves eating and crawling, and is not interested in learning to walk. Her first word was Mama, and also says Dada, baba, and bye-bye. She loves waving hi and bye! 👋🏻

Her 1-year dr appointment confirmed that she's:

• 61st % - height
• 79th % - weight

Definitely our cherub baby! 💗

Elise, we love you so much! We're forever grateful you joined our family a whole year ago!
