DC Temple Open House + Lydia's LAST Day of Kindergarten!

At the end of May we went to the DC Temple open house! It's been under construction for the last 2+ years and is now open to the public for the first time in over 50 years. We went with Zac, Whitney, and the cousins! It was very special to be in the temple with my whole family - a day we'll be talking about for years to come.

The next week Lydia finished Kindergarten!! The school year flew by! She learned an amazing amount this year from her wonderful teacher Ms Dalton, including starting to read and write. She made good friends, became very grown up and independent, and had a lot of fun. I can't believe summer is here already!
After school Silvia, Jen and I set up snacks, music, balloons, bubbles, chalk and popsicles to greet all of the Walnut Bend kids when they got off the bus. We love our neighborhood and feel so grateful to live here!

On our way to the bus for her LAST DAY of Kinder!

That night Matt and Lydia headed up to Lake Anna for the Neuffer family reunion! I came early the next morning with Luke and Elise.

And a few pics from Memorial Day Weekend at home.

First pool day of the year!

Elise's first time at the pool watching Lyd and Luke swim!
