We are FINALLY moved into our house and it feels sooo good! It was a total whirlwind and we ended up officially closing on the one-year anniversary of Matt coming home from his deployment in Korea. If that's not a sign of change I don't know what is. After 8 moves in 8 years (army life!) we couldn't be more grateful to start this next and more settled chapter.

Escrow ended up taking more than two weeks longer than expected because of paperwork delays, but we finally closed on a Friday, and spent that weekend moving little things over ourselves. Painters came on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to paint over the red, teal, and lime green rooms (ha!) On Wednesday movers packed up our rental house across town, and moved everything in on Thursday. Phew!!

Watching the painter. She had lots of questions for him but was good at following the rule "you can watch but stay out of his way!" |

Piano room after! We're amazed by how much bigger and brighter it feels now! |
