Thanksgiving and Christmas 2018
We spent Christmas in Utah this year! It was the first time in five years that Matt and his siblings have been together (because of missions) so it was an extra special holiday. We did almost all of the Christmas traditions they did growing up, plus took family photos, went to see the Temple Square Christmas lights, and Matt, his dad and siblings went night skiing at Sundance. Matt and I also got to meet up with Katie and Seneca, good friends from our ward in Alaska, and it was wonderful to see them! Lydia loved playing with Seneca, Cousin Stanton, and her aunts / uncles and grandparents. It was a cozy and merry Christmas!
Circling back to add pictures from this Thanksgiving! Mom and Dad rented an AirBNB in DC and Sarah came down from NYC. We hosted Thanksgiving dinner there with Uncle Paul, Aunt Susan, my cousins Emily and Spencer (who I hadn't seen in over 10 years, and it was my first time meeting Emily!), Zac and Stanton.
The next day we did family photos. We also went to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, and one night Sarah, Matt and I walked around The Mall. It was a really, really wonderful Thanksgiving and we just wish Ellen could've joined!
