Lydia turned TWO!

Lydia turned TWO! We spent the whole day celebrating: presents in the morning from some very generous friends and family (only one in that pile was from Matt and me), stroller moms, a playgroup, and a trip to the pool (her favorite place in the world). She helped me make a puppy-shaped birthday cake - which made her giggle. :)  We kept it pretty low key this year since she had a party last year, but the night before, we went to the UAF botanical gardens for some birthday pictures.

(and some very adorable tees and leggings from Great Aunt Joann, her first Playmobil set, a baby doll from her BFF Seneca, and later an outfit from Gma Heidi and Gpa Mike from Thailand, etc. Lucky girl!)

The only hiccup during the day was when we were out in the morning and Barkley pulled her puppy cake off the counter and ruined it!

Not about to let him spoil the fun, we quickly made another one during Lydia's nap. It was a little messier but she didn't seem to notice. :)
